Position Summary As a Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership by moving and parking vehicles, maintaining lot organization, and assisting the service team. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will help create a positive experience for every client.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for handling vehicles and equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in automotive environments.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move and park vehicles in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, service bays, and customer waiting areas.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks (e.g., tire pressure, fluid levels).
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries, ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for presentation.
  • Support the service team by retrieving and transporting vehicles as needed.
  • Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as washing and vacuuming vehicles.
  • Provide courteous and prompt service to customers.
  • Follow all company policies, safety, and health regulations.
  • Report any vehicle damage or operational issues immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
