About The Position

Berman STAR Nissan is looking to add a Porter to the Team! Job Title: Automotive Porter Location: Berman STAR Nissan (Niles, IL) Pay: $15/HR Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Saturday (Sundays + One Weekday Off) Company Benefits: Competitive PTO Policy Multiple Low-Cost Medical Insurance Options + FREE TelaHealth Low-Cost Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Options Short Term & Long Term Disability 401K Automotive Service & Sales Discounts Opportunities for Advancement Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles Moving vehicles to designated areas Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership Work closely with sales, service, and other dealership departments to support overall operations and customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of entrances, and common areas, by sweeping and trash removal Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 year min) Friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed Punctuality and reliability in attendance Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks such as lightbulb changes and lawn care Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 year min)
Friendly and approachable demeanor
