About The Position

Job Title: Automotive Porter Location: Berman Nissan of Chicago Two Schedule Options (must be able to work one schedule exactly as listed; no modifications): 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Monday–Friday; Saturdays 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM OR 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Saturday Pay: $16.60/HR Benefits/Perks for Part Time Employees: PTO Automotive Service & Sales Discounts Career Path and Opportunities for Advancement!

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 year min)
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed
Punctuality and reliability in attendance
Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned
Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department
Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles
Moving vehicles to designated areas
Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers
Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times
Maintain cleanliness of entrances, and common areas, by sweeping and trash removal
Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
