About The Position
The Automotive Porter position at Berman Subaru of Chicago involves greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with locating vehicles, and directing them to the appropriate department. The role requires ensuring the cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles. Additionally, the porter will safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers and assist with the organization and management of vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle locations and updating inventory systems as needed. Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds are also part of the responsibilities, along with maintaining cleanliness of entrances and common areas. The position is part-time and offers opportunities for career advancement.
