About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk is expected to accurately, timely, and thoroughly assess receipt of all incoming merchandise to document and maintain accurate records. The role involves seeking ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service, as well as supporting the efforts of other employees to be successful. The Warehouse Clerk will report to the Parts Manager and is responsible for maximizing production, customer service, and profitability by maintaining stock records and bins, distributing complete orders to customers, processing incoming stock orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires adherence to ethical standards and maintaining composure in the workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months or more related experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Maintain valid OSHA Forklift Certification if applicable.
  • Basic ability to read and write.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Active learning and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.

  • Knowledge of Larry H. Miller Dealerships' current company management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess receipt of all incoming merchandise and maintain accurate records.

  • Distribute complete orders to customers while maintaining appropriate timelines.
  • Review records of defective or damaged merchandise for proper claims completion.
  • Process incoming stock orders and customer returns to sustain workflow.
  • Complete and maintain required training.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Assist in processing customer payments.
  • Handle job stress and interact effectively with others.
  • Perform all other job duties as requested by management.
