About The Position

We are looking to hire a motivated Parts Professional to join our staff that currently has over 100 years of Parts experience combined. We are a fast paced shop that has plenty of work and we stay busy.

Requirements

Strong understanding of automotive parts systems and repairs.
Ability to safely lift, pack, and shelve parts at times that can be approximately 50lbs.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Prompt and courteous demeanor
Strong communication skills
Positive and hardworking personality
Eagerness to improve
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
Attention to detail and punctuality are a must.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Work with service technicians and advisors to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service
Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom
Inventory, maintain accurate records of received goods
Maintain parts in appropriate storage areas
Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts
Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
Provide high level service to both internal and external customers
Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers
Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status
Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary
Be able to work out of several digital platforms to perform the parts function. Examples include: Electronic Parts Catalog, GM Global Connect, Dealer Management System, email, etc.
