Requirements

  • Minimum of one year dealership parts counter experience required.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older, pass a background check and drug test.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • General automotive knowledge and component terminology.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs independently on flat surface, up stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts and percentages.

Nice To Haves

  • FCA (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep or Chrysler) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level service to both internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Attend to customer inquiries via phone, email and in person.
  • Utilize electronic parts catalog and websites to source parts, accessories and information.
  • Provide accurate pricing and availability for retail, wholesale and internal customers.
  • Generate parts invoices and collect payment.
  • Place order for parts, accessories, tires and supplies from manufacture and various suppliers.
  • Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
