We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team. The Automotive Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in obtaining the correct parts for vehicles. This role requires strong customer service skills, automotive parts knowledge, ability to lift up to 60lbs, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, call-in customers, and service technicians with vehicle part inquiries and purchases.
• Identify correct parts using cataloging systems (electronic and manual).
• Process orders, returns, and warranties.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock organization and restocking.
• Provide accurate price quotes and product information.
• Relay information of out-of-stock items promptly, including anything else needing immediate attention.
• Maintain efficiency in billing for correct parts.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
• Keep parts area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Embrace teamwork and collaborate with colleagues to enhance department operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
