Fred Martin Superstore is looking to add an Automotive Parts Counterperson to their busy parts department. Do you have experience working in a retail auto parts store or an auto dealership? The candidate we are looking for must have a positive attitude and be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Automotive parts experience required (1 year)
- Valid Driver's License
- Bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Clear communication with all dealership staff, customers, and outside vendors
- Pulls and fills orders from stock
- Locates out-of-stock parts and submits emergency orders when necessary
- Follow up on back-ordered parts
- Ensure that all requests are billed on proper orders
- Sets up shipments for delivery or pickup
- Participates in maintaining a tracking system for lost sales
- Bills sublet parts with proper markup
