The Successful candidate will be required to order parts, as per technician's requests, for the purpose of repairing vehicles and/or getting them ready for retail sale. Parts will be ordered by contacting parts providers directly, both by phone and online. Experience in ordering parts A HUGE PLUS. Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required DUTIES INCLUDE: Order parts/products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs. Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly. Record all purchases, sales and/or customer transactions that occur. Provide service technicians with parts as required. Assist the Parts Manager in merchandising displays, if and when required Maintain the retail salesfloor displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and today's customer satisfaction. Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction. When working the parts counter, follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership. Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale. Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in the job. Use dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently. Perform other tasks as required by Parts Manger. Verify receiving documents. Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
