About The Position

Beaverton Auto Spa has an immediate need for an Automotive Painter. EXCELLENT EARNING POTENTIAL; VERY BUSY SHOP We are looking for rock stars that have a "can do" attitude and take pride in the paint and detail of each car they touch, with proven success. You climb in, out, up down, bend, kneel, and crawl, all within the cars that are in your charge. Repair and paint the minor scratches, paint swirls, dings, wheels, and other non-collision-type blemishes on new and used vehicles. You will learn additional skills while in this position. Requirements

Unlimited physical dexterity
Ability to understand formulas in order to mix cleaning solutions, paints and other chemicals
The ability to operate cleaning equipment is essential; must know how to efficiently operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety policies
Valid driver's license
You will be required to pass a background check and drug screen if a chosen candidate.

Nice To Haves

One year detailer experience preferred; will train the right candidates

Responsibilities

Bumper repair and paint
Repair scratches and paint (swirls)
Paint small parts
Wheel Repairs/Painting
Wet sand and buff paint
Wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines
Clean upholstery and surfaces
Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains
Use different kinds of dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles
Clean and remove grease on engines or engine compartments
plus other task as requested
