Requirements

• Scenic painting or decorative finishes experience
• Automotive paint or specialty coatings experience
• Custom fabrication environments experience
• Murals, themed environments, or exhibit builds experience
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Strong color matching ability
• Experience with spray equipment and paint systems
• Ability to collaborate within a fast-paced fabrication environment

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, sanding, and priming
• Masking and preparing components for spray finishes
• Reviewing color samples and design specifications
• Preparing spray equipment and materials
• Applying automotive-grade finishes and coatings
• Creating smooth, high-gloss surfaces and specialty finishes
• Color matching and layering coatings for durability and appearance
• Working with fabrication teams to ensure proper fit and finish
• Inspect surfaces for consistency and quality
• Buff, polish, or refine finishes
• Apply protective coatings or specialty effects
• Prepare finished components for installation
• Contribute to custom scenic environments and experiential builds
• Contribute to themed installations and architectural features
• Contribute to high-impact branded environments and exhibits
• Contribute to specialty design elements with unique finishes and textures
