This is a full-time position which is responsible for prepping, sanding, and painting Dejana trucks and vans.

Requirements

High School graduate at a minimum
1-3 years' experience in the painting of automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop
Good vision, aptitude for matching colors, mathematical skills, good manual dexterity, basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to do precision work
Ability to follow oral and written instructions; detail oriented and organized; self-motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools

Responsibilities

Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes
Mix all types of paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity and consistency
Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary in paint, or other processes
Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary. Light bodywork may be required
Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met
