Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
• Must have own tools
• Availability to work Saturdays (shop is open 6 days/week)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• NYS Inspector's License or the ability to obtain one
• ASE certification a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems including brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and exhaust
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about repair needs and timelines
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to shop safety protocols
