About The Position
The Automotive Mechanic Intern position is a six-month, paid internship within the Fleet Services Bureau of the City of Long Beach's Financial Management Department. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an automotive trade school or technology program, providing them with practical experience in automotive maintenance and repair. Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week, supporting daily operations and potentially rotating through various divisions within the Bureau based on needs and qualifications.
