Assists other mechanics by cleaning, greasing, and oiling company vehicles. Repairs or replaces parts on vehicles and equipment as instructed. Assists and performs preventive maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and specialized equipment, as assigned. Realigns front end and balances wheels. Assists automotive mechanics in servicing and repair of heavy equipment. Assists in cleaning the shop and surrounding areas. Removes or disassembles worn parts. Uses Authority-owned equipment in a manner which subjects it to normal wear and tear only. Observe Navajo Tribal Utility Authority's Safety Policies for safe work environment. Perform basic customer service policies. Maintaining inventory of Preventive Maintenance and related parts. Submitting daily vehicle maintenance reports to planners. Performs other related duties assigned or required.
