How You'll Work Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, and engine performance concerns using a systematic, step-by-step approach and proper service information. Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of domestic, import, luxury, and light diesel vehicles, focusing on accuracy and long-term reliability. Document findings clearly and completely so other team members and customers understand what was done and why. Use OEM-level and aftermarket diagnostic tools and software to trace and solve complex issues rather than guess or throw parts. Share your knowledge with junior technicians in a calm, patient way that helps them learn the right methods and standards. This role is ideal for someone who likes to work independently within a consistent framework, takes pride in precise work, and prefers a calm, respectful shop culture. What You Bring ASE Master Technician certification, or equivalent hands-on experience at that level. At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience with a track record of accurate diagnostics and comebacks kept to a minimum. Proven ability to work carefully and efficiently, following established procedures, torque specs, and safety standards every time. Steady, professional communication style with advisors, teammates, and customers when needed, without pressure to "sell." Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to keeping your work area, tools, and documentation organized. Why This Fits a Craftsman The environment is stable and process-driven, giving you room to focus deeply on the technical side of the job. You get recognition through trust, challenging work, and long-term growth, not loud self-promotion or constant high-pressure sales. If this sounds like the kind of shop where your craftsmanship will be respected, ER Autocare would like to talk with you.
