York Chevrolet has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Automotive Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As an Automotive Lube Technician you’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer that chooses York Chevrolet receives quality maintenance on their vehicle in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. Requirements

  • Candidates should be able to lift 75lbs.
  • Must be able to safely operate shop equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and repeat basic mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, sales associates, and management.
  • Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
  • Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with factory guidelines.
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacements, and balancing.
  • Replace air filters, bulbs, batteries, wiper blades, etc.
  • Perform courtesy vehicle inspections, including multi-point inspections.
  • Complete all work according to dealership applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
  • Comply with all OSHA and EPA policies.
  • Ensure the customer’s vehicle is returned to them as clean as it was prior to being serviced or repaired – wash vehicles as necessary.
  • Actively participate in the Manufacturer’s Certification Programs as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean working environment. Participate in cleaning the group area on a daily basis before end of work day.
  • Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
