About The Position

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services including, oil changes, lubrication, fluid checks and inspections. This entry-level role supports the service team by ensuring vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer and company standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma) preferred
• Previous automotive or lube technician experience is a plus but not required
• Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, lubrication services and filter replacements
• Check and top off fluids (engine oil, washer fluid)
• Inspect vehicle components such as belts, hoses, tires, lights and wiper blades
• Rotate tires and check tire pressure as needed
• Install basic parts such as air filters and wiper blades
• Identify and report potential mechanical issues to service advisors or technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers
