Requirements

A strong desire to learn and grow in the automotive field
Entry-level experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, or engine repair
Solid mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Dependability and punctuality
A positive attitude and customer-first mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and diagnostic tool skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards
Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Inspect vehicle systems and components for safety and performance
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to identify issues
Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper performance after repairs
Clearly communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
Accurately estimate repair times and complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications
