Automotive Lube Technician/Lot Porter
About The Position
At Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep, our team is growing and we are looking for motivated, entry-level individuals to join us! In this role, you will start as a Lot Porter, where you will help manage the flow of customer vehicles in the Service Department then transition into the Express Service area and perform routine maintenance services. After mastering routine services and repairs, Express Technicians have the ability to continue developing their skills as an Apprentice Technician, working under the guidance of a senior technician. Requirements
- Prior automotive experience is helpful, but we provide training!
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to operate vehicles of various sizes, including large trucks.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the flow of customer vehicles within the service department, and drive vehicles to and from service areas.
- Maintain organization of customer vehicles in the service lot.
- Provide courtesy car washes as requested.
- Complete vehicle inspections, document findings and notify the Service Advisor or necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, replenishing fluids, and tire rotations.
