This entry-level position will provide training and mentorship designed to help associates progress to become automotive line technicians. We provide training, tools, and uniforms! Who You Are: You are a reliable individual with a strong work ethic You are a team player who possesses a positive attitude You hold the quality of your work to a high standard, and details matter You have a sense of urgency and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment You like to learn new things and are looking for an opportunity to grow your career in the automotive industry Essential Functions: Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and follow dealership standards Diagnose and repair automotive vehicle systems, including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made Who We Are: Vista Nissan, a Summit Automotive company, is built upon a different way of thinking.
