Requirements

  • No experience necessary
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills
  • Must be Detail Oriented and have effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Uphold a pleasant, polite and professional demeanor at all times
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
  • Must be able to meet company’s requirements for employment
  • Possess ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds
  • Be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work varied schedule from Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Keep the dealership lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Park vehicles in assigned area(s)
  • Maintain order on dealership lot to maximize space
  • Catalog and store keys
  • Tag vehicles as necessary
  • Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed
  • Verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and stereo equipment
  • Inspect cars to detect damage
  • Record description of damages and list any missing items on delivery receipt
  • Transport vehicles to and from the sales and service department(s) as needed
  • Facilitate the internal processing of purchase and./or trade-in vehicle
  • Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility and dealership property
  • Be accessible and polite to guests and coworkers when necessary, addressing any guest concerns in a professional manner when to ensure positive guest experience
  • Maintain safe working environment at all times by being alert and conscious of moving vehicles on an active, busy dealership lot
  • Understand and abide by all policies and procedures and practice compliance of policies and procedures on a daily and/or as needed basis
  • Assist the sales department and management as needed
