About The Position

Friendly Chevrolet is seeking two dependable, detail-oriented professionals to join our team as Automotive Lot Attendant / Porter --one dedicated to the Sales lot and one to the Service lot . This is a jack-of-all-trades position ideal for individuals who take pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently across a high-volume dealership. Position Overview This role goes beyond vehicle movement. We are seeking professional porters capable of managing a large lot with hundreds of vehicles, including customer vehicles in service and new/ pre-owned inventory for sale. You'll play a key role in maintaining order, safety, and support across the dealership.

Requirements

Previous experience managing dealership lots with high vehicle volume is preferred.
Proven ability to handle both inventory and customer service vehicles with care and professionalism
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong communication skills, reliability, and problem-solving mindset
Highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Manage and organize large volumes of vehicles across either the sales or service lot
oversee lot flow, display alignment, and space optimization for both customer and inventory vehicles
Move vehicles with care and accuracy, assisting with daily dealership operations
Ensure efficient traffic and key control for all vehicles on the property
Support sales or service staff with vehicle retrieval, parking, staging, or transport as needed
Maintain awareness of vehicle locations and internal team needs
Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
