About The Position
Main Street Auto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join their team. The company offers comprehensive solutions to keep vehicles running smoothly with a team of skilled professionals and state-of-the-art equipment. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and motivated Lead Technician with strong diagnostic ability, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with European vehicles. In this role, you will serve as the go-to expert in the shop, handling complex diagnostics, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring high standards of repair and efficiency are met daily.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Deep understanding of European diagnostic systems, tools, and repair procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must own professional-grade tools suitable for European vehicle repair.
Nice To Haves
- European vehicle experience strongly preferred.
- ASE Master Certification or equivalent manufacturer training (preferred but not required).
- Proven leadership or foreman-level experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of European makes and models.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians; provide training and support as needed.
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high-quality repair standards in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Stay up to date with the latest technical information and repair procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
