About The Position

As a Key Technician in Fort Myers, FL, you will be a mechanical and electronically inclined individual responsible for working on high-security keys and providing complex transponder systems for modern cars and trucks. This role involves managing an assigned route of dealers and other customers, producing duplicate keys and transponders that function identically to the originals. The company is seeking both experienced Key Techs and motivated individuals who can complete their training course, offering on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement into higher tech levels or management roles.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Sales and customer service experience
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming
Responsibilities
- Produce duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles
- Maintain equipment and inventory
- Submit invoices and work orders
- Develop positive and productive relationships with customers
- Work on high-security keys and provide complex transponder systems
