Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership experience required
  • ASE Master Technician certification preferred (or equivalent manufacturer certifications)
  • Strong expertise in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to operate advanced electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Team-oriented, professional attitude with leadership capability
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
  • Strong fine and gross motor skills for operating tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in varying lighting conditions and with digital screens

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, drivability, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
  • Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-specific and electronic diagnostic tools
  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders and manufacturer standards
  • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety
  • Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and technical guidance to Service Advisors
  • Assist with mentoring and supporting entry-level and experienced technicians as needed
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Stay current on manufacturer updates, technical service bulletins, and evolving automotive technologies
