About The Position

V2X Professional Services (VPS) is seeking a highly motivated individual to facilitate Interactive Distance Learning (PC based) and Instructor Led Training courses for Service Technicians in a training center setting. The role requires the ability to accept new challenges, complete tasks with minimal direction, and engage in independent study to stay current with technology. Previous dealership and Instructor/Facilitator experience is ideal. The position is based out of Schaumburg, IL. While not required, ASE Certification and Mazda experience are desired.

Requirements

Minimum of two years automotive technician experience
Strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems
Advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills
Demonstrated ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.
Ability to work well with both customers and co-workers in a team environment
Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work environments
Must have excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently and effectively at a satellite training facility
Minimum Associates degree in Automotive Technology or successful completion of a formal Automotive Technology Program
Four years automotive technician experience with a High School diploma may be considered in lieu of a degree
