Holman’s upfitting division has a great opportunity for an Installation Mechanic to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. From custom orders to entire fleets, Holman designs, manufactures, and installs equipment for a wide variety of customers, trades, and industries. We have solutions for service bodies, mechanic bodies, platform bodies, dump bodies, gooseneck bodies, light-duty trucks, and vans. We install ladder racks, partitions, truck mounted welders and generators, floor liners, shelving, cranes, and other electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic equipment. Requirements

2-4 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Ability to understand electrical schematics
Ability to understand 12V circuits
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to provide basic tools

Nice To Haves

Some welding experience preferred
Experience with hydraulics preferred

Responsibilities

Primary job function is installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles
Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints
Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment
Test installed parts prior to final inspection
Verify all line items have been completed on the work order
