Responsibilities

  • Damage Assessment: Inspecting windshields and windows to determine if glass can be repaired or requires a full replacement.
  • Precision Installation: Removing damaged glass and installing new windshields, side windows, or sunroofs using specialized adhesives (urethane) and sealants.
  • Chip & Crack Repair: Injecting specialized resin into small chips and cracks to stabilize the glass and prevent further spreading.
  • Component Handling: Safely removing and re-installing vehicle parts like moldings, wipers, clips, and interior trim (A-pillar moldings) to access the glass.
  • Weatherproofing: Applying chemical treatments and installing rubber seals to prevent leaks and wind noise.
  • System Calibration: Calibrating Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) or sensors that are often integrated into modern windshields.
  • Preparation: Deep-cleaning glass surfaces to remove all dirt, grease, and debris for a flawless finish.
  • Precision Cutting: Using software or manual templates to measure and cut tint film to exact window specifications.
  • Seamless Application: Applying tint film and smoothing out imperfections to ensure a bubble-free and crease-free result.
  • Film Removal: Stripping old, peeling, or damaged tint and adhesive residue from customer vehicles.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all tinting work adheres to state and local regulations regarding darkness and reflectivity.
  • Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
  • Clean interior and exterior windows
  • Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
  • Clean engine and engine compartment
  • Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
  • Window tint application
  • Paint protection film application
  • Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
  • Operate all tools in a safe manner
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
