About The Position

The Automotive Finance Manager at David Scott Lee is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the automotive sales process. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive finance management or a related field within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing finance operations in a dealership environment.
  • Experience in working with various financial institutions and understanding of credit processes and lending practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial strategies and solutions to enhance dealership profitability.
  • Experience in training and leading a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with lenders and financial institutions.
  • Proficient in using finance-related software and dealership management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and financial partners.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive finance regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, lenders, and dealership staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing options for customers.
  • Evaluate customer credit reports and financial information to determine the best financing solutions.
  • Present and explain financing options, terms, and conditions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to financing.
  • Prepare and review all financial documents, contracts, and paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with dealership policies and legal regulations.
  • Negotiate financing terms with lenders to achieve favorable terms for both the dealership and the customer.
  • Monitor and report on financing performance metrics, including loan approval rates, profit margins, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and competitive financing programs to provide the best options to customers.
  • Train and mentor sales staff on financing processes and compliance requirements.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues related to financing in a timely and professional manner.
