About The Position

Location: Berman Subaru of Chicago Job Title: Express Technician Schedule: Full time; 40 hours/week; Monday-Saturday; 2 days off Pay: $17.00/HR Responsibilities: Perform all lubrication services Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e. battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventative maintenance to Service Advisor Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles Check air pressure of tires Replace oil and air filters Change batteries, bulbs, tire rotations Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs that may be needed Ensure customer cars are kept clean Benefits: Company PAID Health Insurance & Pension Company PAID ASE Certifications Company PAID Manufacturer Training & Travel Company PAID Tool Insurance Competitive PTO Company Provided Uniforms - Including Gloves 401k Automotive Parts & Vehicle Purchasing Discounts Ability to work on your own and/or your family's vehicle after hours! Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as an auto technician, minimum
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Fast learner
  • Team Player
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (3 year minimum)

Responsibilities

  • Perform all lubrication services
