About The Position

The Automotive Express/Maintenance Technician at Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati is responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance and repairs in a high-volume service environment. This role offers a starting pay of $18-$20 per hour and provides opportunities for career advancement through dealership training programs. Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Entry-level experience in automotive maintenance or express technician role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic safety inspections while draining oil from the crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades, and perform additional services as outlined by management.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace, or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by the service manager.
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and notify the service advisor immediately of any changes to the vehicle's appearance or condition.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
