About The Position

They are seeking driven Automotive Sales Professionals for Sheehy Ford of Springfield. This role is designed for individuals who desire long-term growth in the automotive industry, with a clear path to becoming Sales Managers, GSMs, and General Managers. The position offers an opportunity to build a career rather than just earn a commission. Sales Consultants will utilize vehicle locator tools, participate in appraising trade-ins, take initiative in deal structure and customer solutions, and develop operational and inventory knowledge, learning how the business works beyond just selling cars.

Requirements

  • Technology proficient (CRM, digital retailing tools, texting, video, email follow-up)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
  • Long-term mindset with leadership aspirations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive Sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles and accessories
  • Lead customers through proven selling steps that close deals
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring the customer understands the product features, warranty, and paperwork to lay the foundation for customer loyalty
  • Maintain customer information and contacts in CRM
  • Follow-up with existing customers to build relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
  • Develop new business through focused personal marketing efforts through direct mail, networking affiliations, and telemarketing
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles to provide clients with informative comparisons.
