We have an immediate opening for an Automotive Equipment Mechanic . This position is located at our corporate office/distribution facility in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical/electrical background. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must for this role. If you have these qualities, we have training opportunities available to teach you about our specific types of equipment. COMPENSATION: Pay ranges from $20- $22 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements

Experience working on various types of equipment (automotive equipment experience is a plus)
Strong mechanical/electrical background as demonstrated by previous experience
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must be at least 18 years old
Have a valid driver’s license with a Class E endorsement
Own your own hand tools
Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's

Nice To Haves

Basic automotive knowledge is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

The Automotive Equipment Technician will work on tire changers, balancers, lifts, alignment racks and other types of equipment used in automotive facilities.
Duties include equipment installation, maintenance, repair and replacement.
