We’re expanding and looking for skilled Car Audio & 12V Installation Technicians who are serious about their craft and want to grow in a fast-moving, high-performance environment. As a 12V Technician at Cartronics , you will: Install and integrate aftermarket audio systems, OEM interfaces, lighting, security, remote start, and other 12V electronic components Carefully disassemble and reassemble vehicle interiors, ensuring all trim and components are returned to factory-quality condition Diagnose, test, and integrate wiring, harnesses, and electronic modules with precision and attention to detail Produce clean, reliable, professional-grade installations that consistently exceed customer expectations Collaborate with a skilled team that shares a passion for innovation, craftsmanship, and automotive technology

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with car audio, 12V electronics, or similar technical installation work
• Strong understanding of vehicle wiring, electrical systems, and modern integration solutions
• High attention to detail and pride in clean, professional workmanship
• A passion for automotive technology and customization
• A growth mindset and willingness to keep learning
• Experience in car audio or 12-volt installations (preferred)
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things and push yourself to get better each and every day
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to use power tools and diagnostic equipment
• A team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• MECP certification or formal training
• Fabrication skills (dash kits, amp racks, etc.)
• CAD experience
• Experience with marine, motorcycle, or powersports audio

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate car audio systems, remote starts, lighting, security, and other 12V electronics
• Diagnose and troubleshoot wiring, signal flow, and system performance
• Execute clean, reliable installs that meet Cartronics’ quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to bring customer visions to life
• Stay current with evolving vehicle technology and installation techniques
• Install and integrate aftermarket audio systems, OEM interfaces, lighting, security, remote start, and other 12V electronic components
