About The Position

The Driver will transport company vehicles, documents, and supplies, and run errands as needed. They will also pick up and deliver customers to and from the dealership. The role involves operating a passenger van safely and efficiently, responding to dispatch requests, assisting passengers, and performing vehicle inspections and cleaning. Additionally, the driver will move vehicles throughout and between dealerships, pick up customer vehicles, and organize vehicle inventory. Requirements

  • Current, Valid, Driver’s license
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Required

Responsibilities

  • Transport company vehicles, documents, and supplies.
  • Run errands as needed.
  • Pick up and deliver customers to and from the dealership.
  • Operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to requests from dispatch or management for scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
  • Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
  • Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air-conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc. prior to moving vehicle.
  • Ensure inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
  • Keep interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
  • Accurately complete driver sheet for each shift with information including number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, mileages, destinations, etc.
  • Treat all guests, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Move vehicles throughout the dealership.
  • Move vehicles between dealerships.
  • Pick up customer vehicles and transport the vehicle back to the dealership.
  • Organize vehicle inventory around the dealership.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
