Requirements

  • Ford Certification required
  • At least 1 year of dealership or fleet diesel repair experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASE Certification strongly preferred
  • CDL License a plus
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
  • Must provide own set of tools
  • Professional, motivated, and team-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
  • Review job orders, listen to customer concerns, and plan repair procedures
  • Follow checklists to ensure critical components and safety systems are inspected
  • Road-test vehicles to confirm repair quality and performance
  • Properly document work performed, warranty items, and required parts
  • Attend training programs and review manufacturer bulletins to stay current on best practices
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace
  • Ensure customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition
  • Foster positive customer relationships by providing clear communication and professional service
  • Complete assignments in line with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Support production goals set by management
