About The Position

DriveTime is seeking Automotive Detailers to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles in their Reconditioning Center. The role involves tracking vehicle maintenance, detailing vehicles, and ensuring a clean and neat presentation for retail distribution. The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable DMV required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Stock in vehicles when they arrive from auction.
• Prepare and move vehicles around the Reconditioning Center for distribution to retail.
• Detail vehicles - wash and buff, perform minor paint touch-ups, vacuum interiors, and clean additional surfaces.
• Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
• Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition.
• Identify and complete repairs effectively to minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Work safely to decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or team members due to hazardous conditions.
• Collaborate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.
