About The Position
DriveTime is immediately hiring Automotive Detailers! Our Automotive Detailers are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are prepared for retail by performing a variety of tasks that enhance the appearance and condition of the vehicles. This includes stock in vehicles when they arrive from auction, preparing and moving vehicles around the Reconditioning Center for distribution, and detailing vehicles through washing, buffing, minor paint touch-ups, vacuuming interiors, and cleaning additional surfaces. The role also involves using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles, performing inspections, and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition. Automotive Detailers are expected to identify and complete repairs effectively the first time to minimize re-work and delays in production. Safety is a priority, and team members must work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to themselves or others in the shop due to spills or other preventable hazardous conditions. Additionally, they will collaborate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on the estimated cost of repairs and the overall quality of the vehicle.
