About The Position

Sterling KIA is looking for dependable Automotive Detailers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a successful, family-owned dealership serving Acadiana. In this role, you will help prepare vehicles for delivery and maintain the appearance of vehicles on our lot and in our showroom. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to get started in the automotive industry with room to grow.

Requirements

Automotive detailing experience preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Coachable and willing to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and positive attitude
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

Wash, dry, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris
Clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces using proper products and tools
Maintain cleanliness of the showroom, vehicle lot, and work areas
Support the Sales and Service departments by ensuring vehicles are presentation-ready
Safely move and park vehicles on the lot and in service areas
Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicles and equipment
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
