Vern Eide GM is looking for a thorough, responsible Automotive Detailer who will provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers. As an Automotive Detailer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles look pristine. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for cars, and a strong work ethic. You will clean, polish, and ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards before it’s returned to our customers. This position is 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month, with a day off during the week for the Saturday worked.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
  • Attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
  • Ability to operate detailing tools and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards.
  • Perform thorough detailing, including vacuuming, polishing, waxing, and applying protective finishes.
  • Clean and organize detailing tools and supplies.
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable issues or defects and report findings to the supervisor.
  • Use detailing equipment, including buffers, vacuums, and steamers.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
