Automotive Detailer
About The Position
Do you love cars and enjoy hands-on work? Join Kunes Auto Group as a full-time Automotive Detailer! We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to help keep our vehicles in showroom-ready condition. What You’ll Do: Wash vehicle exteriors and clean interior windows, mirrors, and door jambs Vacuum seats, carpets, and floor mats to remove dirt and debris Shampoo and deep-clean upholstery and rugs Apply waxes, tire dressing, and interior protectants (vinyl, leather, and fabric) Use specialty cleaners to remove stains and tough materials Inspect for and report visible defects like dents, scratches, and damaged upholstery Recondition interiors, engine bays, and painted surfaces Touch up minor paint or trim issues and replace missing small parts Maintain all showroom and lot vehicles in clean condition Refuel vehicles and remove all stickers on sold units Keep the lot organized and your work area clean and safe Report any issues or hazards to management
Requirements
- Previous vehicle detailing, including buffing, polishing and reconditioning experience required
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license required
