Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant
About The Position
Carvana is hiring for entry-level auto roles, specifically Automotive Detailer and Lot Attendant, at its Inspection Centers. In these roles, employees will be involved in detailing vehicles, moving them between departments, taking photos, and inspecting for imperfections. Requirements
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Passing a complete background check
Responsibilities
- Detailing vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing
- Move vehicles from one department to the next in our Inspection Centers
- Take photos of our vehicles so customers can see our vehicles in our spinners
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the vehicles and accurately identify any imperfections/defects
