Automotive Detail - Full-time
About The Position
The detailer cleans and refurbishes new, used, and customer vehicles. Pay Rate: This is a Flat Rate Hourly position, not just strictly hourly. Pay is contingent on efficiency similar to that of an Automotive Technician Detailers are paid on a flat-rate system which means you are paid $16/flat rate hourly and are paid based on each job that is completed, not how long you physically worked. For example, if the estimated job is estimated to take three hours and you complete the job in two, you still earn three hours worth of pay, which rewards efficiency. Flat rate often leads to higher earnings, if efficient at your job.
Requirements
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and/or PC.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes
- Vacuum interior of vehicles.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizing and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
- Take pictures of completed used vehicles and upload them to the website
- Responsible for flagging and closing repair orders
