About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician position involves washing vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers, removing trash from the interior, and cleaning upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces with various cleaning agents and devices. The technician will apply wax to the auto body, buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine, apply protective sealants, refurbish headlights, and maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization. The role requires understanding and delivering to the specific requirements of customers, inspecting vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery, and maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Previous detail experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Remove trash from the interior and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply wax to auto body and buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights.
• Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
• Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery.
• Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
