About The Position

In this role, you will partner with the Shop Manager to oversee daily shop operations, lead a team of skilled detailers, and ensure every vehicle meets our high-quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of detailing, and the ability to motivate and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience (interior and exterior).
Prior supervisory, lead, or assistant manager experience in a shop, dealership, or reconditioning environment.
Strong knowledge of detailing products, tools, and safety practices.
Reliable transportation and full-time availability, including weekends if needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support a dealership workflow.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an Assistant Manager, or Lead Detailer.
Background in dealership operations or reconditioning services.
Ability to train and mentor detailers on best practices and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist with supervising and coaching detail shop employees.
Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and shift coverage.
Perform hands-on automotive detailing as needed to support workflow.
Ensure all vehicles meet dealership-ready quality standards before delivery.
Maintain inventory of detailing products, chemicals, and equipment.
Monitor and enforce safety procedures, company policies, and quality control.
Collaborate with dealership managers and internal teams to meet production goals.
Identify process improvements to increase shop efficiency and turnaround time.
