As an Automotive Detail Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of company and customer vehicles. This includes washing and waxing vehicles using power equipment and ensuring all vehicle inventory is well-maintained on the dealership property. You will report directly to both the Sales and Service Managers.

Requirements

Previous detail technician experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and understand job-related instructions in electronic or paper format.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Sound judgment and reliability.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Wash and wax cars and trucks promptly according to management requests.
Perform assigned tasks efficiently and accurately per dealership standards.
Ensure vehicle keys are properly tagged and matched with corresponding vehicles.
Inspect vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.
Notify service advisor or sales manager immediately if extra work is required.
Refrain from using customer vehicles for personal errands.
Supervise apprentice technicians when assigned.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, accounting for all dealership-owned tools.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding disposal of hazardous materials.
