About The Position
Mills Automotive Group is seeking an entry level accounting associate for a Full Time position for our Jaguar Land Rover and Ford Lincoln locations in Columbia, SC. Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills. We Offer: Health, Dental, Medical, Vision after 60 days 401K Paid Time Off
Requirements
- Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions.
- Positive attitude
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous dealership experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of title processes is a plus
- Notary Public is a plus
Responsibilities
- Tag & Title assistance
- Scanning and Filing Documents
- Inventory entry
- Internal Deal Audits
- Deal Checklist Validation
- Out of State Title Preparation
- Lien Payoff Preparation
- MSO and Title Tracking and Follow Up
- Used Car Purchases
- Support office personnel
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts for wholesales, dealer trades, lien payoffs, etc.
- Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
