About The Position

The Automotive Dealer Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting retail, wholesale, and service department customers with their parts and accessory needs. This role involves accurately processing orders, invoices, and returns within the dealership system, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring proper stock levels. The Counterperson will also provide product knowledge, recommend related items to enhance sales, and collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals for customer satisfaction and profitability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and accessories.
• Proficiency in dealership management systems (Reynolds preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years of automotive parts or service experience preferred.
